The internet can be a facilitator for human rights, development and economic stability and growth, contributing decisively to human development. Panelists:

  • Brad Smith (Master in Law, 1984), President and Chief Legal Officer, Microsoft Corporation
  • Kate Gilmore, Deputy High Commissioner for Human Rights
  • Phillip Spoerri, Head of Delegation to the UN in New York, International Committee of the Red Cross

The Geneva Lecture Series is jointly organised by UNITAR and UN Geneva in partnership with the Graduate Institute for International and Development Studies and the Geneva Internet Platform. It is organised with the kind support of the Fondation pour Genève.
